Oh Crumz

Your records. Your call.

Oh Crumz records swear fines and self-reported payments. It does not connect to banks, transfer money or hold funds.

Who runs the app

James Triggs is responsible for Oh Crumz and the personal information described in this notice. Contact jamesjtriggs@gmail.com for help, a privacy request or a complaint.

Records on your device

Jar names and goals, fines, payment allocations, daily check-ins, weekly reviews, badges and preferences are stored locally. The app has no account system and does not upload these records to a publisher database. Device loss, uninstalling or clearing app storage can remove them. Trial start and latest-observed time and limited upgrade-offer markers are also stored locally. Clearing jar data or importing a backup does not reset those eligibility markers.

Purchases

RevenueCat and your platform store process information needed to provide and restore Full Unlock. This includes an anonymous app-user identifier, receipts or purchase tokens, purchase history, app version, platform and operating-system information, and service activity timestamps. Your jar names, fines and check-ins are not sent to RevenueCat. Oh Crumz does not request your bank or card details. Apple or Google handles payment. Purchase-service records are separate from your local jar records.

No advertising integrations

The app includes no adverts or separate behavioural analytics SDK. It does not enable RevenueCat advertising-identifier collection, attribution integrations or cross-app tracking. The purchase service still processes its operational data as described above.

Backups and sharing

Exported JSON backups are unencrypted. Save them somewhere you trust. Export and sharing happen only when you choose them. Your chosen Files provider or share destination then processes the content under its own terms. A receipt image or shared summary can reveal your jar name and amounts. Review it before sharing.

Reminders

Optional notifications are scheduled locally. Their text does not include jar names or amounts. Your operating system controls permission, delivery and delays.

Deletion and recovery

Use Settings to correct records, export a backup or delete all local jar data. Deleting local data also cancels the app’s scheduled reminder. It does not refund a purchase, erase store transaction records or delete backups you exported. Restoring a purchase recovers the unlock, not your jar data.

Support and your choices

If you email support, we receive your email address and what you choose to send. We use this to answer your request, investigate faults and handle complaints. Avoid attaching backups unless needed and agreed. A purchase reference or anonymous customer reference may be needed to find purchase-service records. We keep support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your request and meet related legal obligations. We do not use support messages for marketing.

Why we process information

We process purchase information to provide the Full Unlock you buy, understand aggregate sales and purchase-service performance through RevenueCat, and meet legal obligations. This purchase reporting does not include your jar records. We use support correspondence and necessary website security information for our legitimate interests in answering requests, maintaining the service and preventing misuse. Optional reminders, backups and sharing remain under your control. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase or receive a copy of personal information we hold, restrict its use or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact jamesjtriggs@gmail.com. We may need proportionate proof to locate your records and protect them. We normally respond within one month, and will explain if an extension applies. Local jar records remain on your device, so we cannot retrieve a server copy. You can complain to us or to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.

These help pages

These pages are hosted on Cloudflare Pages and include no advertising or analytics scripts. Cloudflare processes technical request information, such as your IP address and browser information, to serve and protect the website. Its privacy information is available at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/. Opening an external link or emailing support uses the destination service, which has its own privacy practices.

Service providers and transfers

Apple, Google, RevenueCat, our email provider and our website hosting provider process information needed to deliver their services. This can involve processing outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for our transfers, we use applicable provider contractual safeguards. Store and purchase records follow the relevant provider retention requirements. RevenueCat information is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. Contact us if you need details of providers or safeguards relevant to your request.

Audience and updates

Oh Crumz is intended for adults using a personal or household jar. A goal mentioning a child does not make it a children’s financial product. This notice was updated on 21 October 2026. We will update it when our practices change.
